Joke of the month

Let's Pretend...
A man and a woman who have never met before find themselves
in the same sleeping carriage on a train. After the initial embarrassment
they both go to sleep -- the man on the top bunk,
and the woman on the lower.

In the middle of the night the man leans over, wakes the woman
and says, "I'm sorry to bother you, but I'm awfully cold and I was
wondering if you could possibly get me another blanket?"
The woman leans out and, with a glint in her eye, says,
"I have a better idea, just for tonight, let's make pretend that
we're married." The man says happily, "OK! Sure!"
The woman says, "GOOD. Get your own damn blanket!"

zq and swei are back from australia.. i'd taken leave since yday..
hoping to spend some time with them.. gona start work on monday again..
gona see the dreamcars asia motorshow this weekend..

life can be very fragile..
i'd forgotten since when i have this habit of asking myself this:
"if i'm going to die now, what would be the things i'll regret not doing?"
thinking this way actually helps me to cherish my life more..
cherish the people around me more.. doing things which i wanted to do
but have not..

try asking the question yourself now.. ;)

i bet you heard of people saying the older songs are still the best..
i start to listen to pop songs in quite an early age.. around the
late 80s.. till now, i would say that there are great songs every year..
but the quality of the album is going down.. i'm refering to the
chinese music industry.. producers go from producing good
listening albums to good selling albums.. much of the "traditional
sentimental love songs" are "converted" to rap n r&b..
one of the singers zhang ke fan who sing mostly "traditional
sentimental love songs" quit singing.. he's a very good singer actually.. sigh..
where are the fans who used to support him?

You are dying now, by the second.
So you had better start living now, by the second.

If you look for the Buddha outside your own mind, the Buddha becomes Mara.
But to think Mara is outside your own mind, means he is indeed within.

Even if one of your eyes is slightly blurred, all that you see will be distorted, marred.
Much less to say about your mind's warped perceptions.

Don't keep saying it's only human that you err again and again.
You shouldn't want to be only human; You should want to be a Buddha.

Everywhere freedom is sought. But only from within can freedom be found.
Hence Buddhism is the inward path. Freedom is not free - earn it.

Being Buddhist is simple.
Understand impermanence of everything and continually change for the better.

Not knowing the reason you are here is the reason you are here.
This is our fundamental ignorance.

There is only one thing wrong with you - you can be truly happy,
fully enlightened - but you do not want to be... badly enough.

my sec sch buddies.. ah ken & guoxiong.. guess where r we? ;)
i know they look like farmers, but we're not at some chinese province growing crops..


where is this place?! Shitz! its full of hunks!!

this is the largest kampong village in sg.. the ulu ulubin~ nice bo? =)


we are at the highest point of pulau ubin! the scenery is fabulous!
do u manage to catch changi airport on the right? heheh..


this is one of the used-to-be-quarry in ubin..
