0 comments ![]() ![]() dreamed of racing on 10:11 pm <------------------------------------------------------->

Master Jing Kung said, "The chinese temples in china are much more effective then 10,000 policemen." in the olden time, the chinese temple remind one of cause and effect.. people visiting the temple have the mindset of doing right and you'll have good fortune, doing wrong and you'll suffered in hell.. during that time, there're not as much crime rate like now and there are no murdering case of parents, brothers etc.. in america, its not rare to see such cases every year.. thus chinese traditional education play a very vital role in development of mankind.. and it is this our very own cutlture that we are losing it.. 0 comments ![]() ![]() dreamed of racing on 9:08 pm <-------------------------------------------------------> Friday, 22 December 2006 Did I married the right person? During one of our seminars, a woman asked a common question. She said, "How do I know if I married the right person?" I noticed that there was a large man sitting next to her so I said, "It depends. Is that your husband?" In all seriousness, she answered "How do you know?" Let me answer this question because the chances are good that it's weighing on your mind. Here's the answer. Every relationship has a cycle. In the beginning, you fell in love with your spouse. You anticipated their call, wanted their touch, and liked their idiosyncrasies. Falling in love with your spouse wasn't hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn't have to do anything. That's why it's called "falling" in love... because it's happening to you. People in love sometimes say, "I was swept of my feet." Think about the imagery of that expression. It implies that you were just standing there; doing nothing, and then something came along and happened to you. Falling is love is easy. It's a passive and spontaneous experience. But after a few years of marriage, the euphoria of love fades. It's the natural cycle of every relationship. Slowly but surely, phone calls become a bother (if they come at all), touch is not always welcome (when it happens), and your spouse's idiosyncrasies, instead of being cute, drive you nuts. The symptoms of this stage vary with every relationship, but if you think about your marriage, you will notice a dramatic difference between the initial stage when you were in love and a much duller or even angry subsequent stage. At this point, you and/or your spouse might start asking, "Did I marry the right person?" And as you and your spouse reflect on the euphoria of the love you once had, you may begin to desire that experience with someone else. This is when marriages breakdown. People blame their spouse for their unhappiness and look outside their marriage for fulfillment. Extramarital fulfillment comes in all shapes and sizes. Infidelity is the most obvious. But sometimes people turn to work, church, a hobby, a friendship, excessive TV, or abusive substances. But the answer to this dilemma does not lie outside your marriage. It lies within it. I'm not saying that you couldn't fall in love with someone else. You could. And temporarily you'd feel better. But you'd be in the same situation a few years later. Because (listen carefully to this): "The key to success in marriage is not finding the right person; it's learning to love the person you found." Sustaining love is not a passive or spontaneous experience. It'll never just happen to you. You have to make it day in and day out. That's why we have the expression "the labor of love." Because it takes time, effort, and energy. And most importantly, it takes wisdom. You have to know what to do to make your marriage work. Make no mistake about it. Love is not a mystery. There are specific things you can do (with or without your spouse) to succeed with your marriage. Just as there are physical laws of the universe, there are also laws for relationships. Just as the right diet and exercise program makes you physically stronger, certain habits in your relationship will make your marriage stronger. It's a direct cause and effect. If you know and apply the laws, the results are predictable... you can sustain love and love will never die.. you do not need to find another person to fall in love with.. Love in marriage is a commitment... not just a feeling.. 0 comments ![]() ![]() dreamed of racing on 1:59 pm <-------------------------------------------------------> Wednesday, 20 December 0 comments ![]() ![]() dreamed of racing on 11:25 pm <-------------------------------------------------------> Tuesday, 19 December 0 comments ![]() ![]() dreamed of racing on 11:34 pm <-------------------------------------------------------> Tuesday, 12 December 2006 What Happens To Your Body If You Drink A Coke Right Now? In The First 10 minutes: 10 teaspoons of sugar hit your system. (100% of your recommended daily intake.) You don’t immediately vomit from the overwhelming sweetness because phosphoric acid cuts the flavor allowing you to keep it down. 20 minutes: Your blood sugar spikes, causing an insulin burst. Your liver responds to this by turning any sugar it can get it’s hands on into fat. (There’s plenty of that at this particular moment) 40 minutes: Caffeine absorption is complete. Your pupils dialate, your blood pressure rises, as a response your livers dumps more sugar into your bloodstream. The adenosine receptors in your brain are now blocked preventing drowsiness. 45 minutes: Your body ups your dopamine production stimulating the pleasure centers of your brain. This is physically the same way heroin works, by the way. >60 minutes: The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc in your lower intestine, providing a further boost in metabolism. This is compounded by high doses of sugar and artificial sweeteners also increasing the urinary excretion of calcium. >60 minutes: The caffeine’s diuretic properties come into play. (It makes you have to pee.) It is now assured that you’ll evacuate the bonded calcium, magnesium and zinc that was headed to your bones as well as sodium, electrolyte and water. >60 minutes: As the rave inside of you dies down you’ll start to have a sugar crash. You may become irritable and/or sluggish. You’ve also now, literally, pissed away all the water that was in the Coke. But not before infusing it with valuable nutrients your body could have used for things like even having the ability to hydrate your system or build strong bones and teeth. so guys, drink pepsi.. =p 0 comments ![]() ![]() dreamed of racing on 2:45 am <-------------------------------------------------------> Wednesday, 6 December 2006 Joke of The Month A Pharmacist Dad A young man goes into a drug store to buy condoms. The pharmacist says the condoms come in packs of three, nine or 12 and asks which the young man wants. "Well", he said, "I've been seeing this girl for a while and she's really hot. I want the condoms because I think tonight's THE night. We're having dinner with her parents, and then we're going out. Once she's had me, she'll want me all the time, so you'd better give me the 12-pack." The young man makes his purchase and leaves. Later that evening, he sits down to dinner with his girlfriend and her parents. He asks if he might give the blessing, and they agree. He begins the prayer, but continues praying for several minutes. The girl leans over and says, "You never told me that you were such a religious person." He leans over to her and says, "You never told me that your father is a pharmacist!" 0 comments ![]() ![]() dreamed of racing on 9:10 pm <-------------------------------------------------------> |
