finally diablo 3 is on the way! a new class "witch doctor" was added to the
game.. the game is still under development.. but so excited to learn that
Blizzard is working on it..

there she lie, sometimes so peacefully.. sometimes groaning in pain..
shaking her head as if trying to turn away.. i watched helplessly..
is she havng a nitemare? what can i do to reduce her pain or fear..
even by juz a little.. i pray to buddha to have her karma reflect on me..
granny never hurt a single soul.. granny didn't do anything evil in her life..
the feeding pipe to her nose choked up every time medicine is given..
her hands are being tied to the bed to prevent her from pulling away the pipe..
i talk to her again and again hoping she can recognize me.. but she
seem to be in her own world.. a world filled with darkness..

last friday the 13th, i managed to combine 3 neighbourhoods (yishun, sengkang,
amk in wlny) for an exciting and also relaxing outing.. honestly, i never
thought it'll be so successfully with everyone enjoying themselves.. even looking
forward to the next one.. the idea origin from yishun, a friday the 13th outing
thread.. but ironically, the orangiser was busy on that day.. and sk people
idea was to have supper at compass point.. thus i thought fri 13th will be
a normal night.. anyway, we went changi beach with nasi lemak from changi v..







after a few hours of mingling session, only some agree to visit och.. so i
suggested that we'll visit och but just stayed in the car.. however, when we
reached there, the road is only wide enough for a vehicle.. so all of us stepped
out and walked toward och.. we didn't went in the building due to not enough lights..







before we took our leave, 2 man holding on to a girl tightly came approaching
us.. one of the guy asked are we ok? dun mind we do some praying? mike started to
panic a little.. hehe.. i looked at my watch, its 3:33am.. so i suggested to
leave at once.. 3am is the most 阴 period of the night.. one of the pics xm took
when testing his camera in my car shown some orbs.. upon zooming in, one of
them look like having 2 eyes! next exploration will be lck.. stay tuned!

Former Ferrari driver Michael Schumacher kisses his car during Ferrari Day at
the Monza, Italian racetrack 29 October 2006. Schumacher retired after piloting his
Ferrari to fourth place in the Brazilian Grand Prix on Oct 22.


PERHAPS the greatest all-round Formula One driver ever, Michael Schumacher is seven-
time world champion and was voted in 2006 as the most popular driver among Formula
One fans.

In 1995 Michael became the youngest-ever double Formula One World Champion (1994 and
1995 seasons) ever. He is also the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 World Champion.
The first two championships were with Benetton. Schumacher moved to Ferrari in 1996.

He also holds many records in Formula One, including most drivers' championships,
race victories, fastest laps, pole positions, points scored and most races won in a
single season. After the 2006 Formula One season Schumacher retired from race
driving.

Off the track, Schumacher, 39, is an ambassador for UNESCO and a spokesman for
driver safety. He has been involved in many humanitarian efforts throughout his
life.

Schumacher was often known as "the Red Baron", due to his red Ferrari and in
reference to the German flying ace of World War I.

Schumacher is often credited with popularising Formula One in Germany, where it was
once considered a fringe sport. In 2006, three of the top 10 drivers were German,
more than any other nationality and more than have ever been present in Formula One
history.

The last racing season in 2006

2006 was the last season of Schumacher's racing career. After three races,
Schumacher had 11 points and was already 17 points behind the Spanish Fernando
Alonso.

Schumacher was stripped of pole position at the Monaco Grand Prix and started the
race at the back of the grid. This was due to him stopping his car and blocking part
of the circuit while Alonso was on his qualifying lap; he still managed to work his
way up to 5th place on the tight Monaco circuit.

By the Canadian Grand Prix, the ninth race of the season, he was 25 points behind
Alonso, and the three wins that followed helped him reduce his disadvantage to 11.
After his victories in Italy, and China, Schumacher led in the championship
standings for the first time during the season. Although he and Alonso had the
same point total, Schumacher was in front because he had won more races.

The Japanese Grand Prix was led by Schumacher with only 16 laps to go, when, for the
first time since the 2000 French Grand Prix, Schumacher's car suffered engine
failure. Alonso won the race, which gave him a 10-point championship lead. With only
one race left in the season, Schumacher could only win the championship if he won
the season finale and Alonso scored no points.

Before the Brazilian Grand Prix, the last race of his career, Schumacher conceded
the title to Alonso. During the race's qualifying session, Schumacher had the best
time of all drivers through the first two sessions; but a fuel pressure problem
prevented him from completing a single lap during the third session, forcing him to
start the race in 10th position. Early in the race Schumacher moved up to sixth
place. However, in overtaking Alonso's teammate, Giancarlo Fisichella, Schumacher
experienced a tyre puncture caused by the front wing of Fisichella's car.

Schumacher pitted and consequently fell to 19th place, 70 seconds behind teammate
and race leader Felipe Massa. Schumacher recovered and overtook both Fisichella and
Räikkönen to secure fourth place. His performance was "heroic", an "utterly breath-
taking drive", according to press reports.

i went to MacRitchie HSBC Tree Top Walk yesterday..
i must say its not very easy.. you need to have good
stamina to keep going.. so, for the lucky one like you,
pls sit back and let me take you through the journey..

this is the entrance at venus drive carpark..


when i read how long it takes for the trek, i was shocked!
the trek was categorised under moderate to difficult, thats
ok.. but next i see.. time taken to complete: 3-4 hours!
total distance: 7.2km! click the map for a bigger one..


after the starting point: you can see various signs including
the now most famous man in sg.. (bottom right)


like a kampong route? ^^

woa! this is like walking in a garden.. =)


at the end is a T-junction.. we supposed to go right..


but i go left! you know, i like to explore la.. ^^


ok, back to the T-junction, can you see fishes under the bridge?

after the bridge is a small narrow road nicely laid..


i was quite surprised to see staircase here! but going down mean..


have to go up again! juz follow the sign and you won't get lost..


we came to a Y-junction.. we are going straight.. left is to
macritchie reservoir..


congrats! we'd covered 2.4km..

after the winding road, we're then really stepping into macritchie..


all the way down and we'll reach Ranger Station.. but
no ranger in sight! toilet on the right.. turn left..

a tree that had "make way" during the construction?

i turned back.. and did you see what i see?

now a staircase down to hell..?


at the bottom are 2 sealed wells..


jelutong tower is just 0.4km away..


it look similiar to the one in ubin..


only the spiral staircase is different..

fear of height? then don't look down..


on the way down the tower..


i saw these little flowers that fall neatly on its leaf..


on my way back.. guess what i saw..


they're munching on the greenie little fruits..


i took about 3 hours to complete the whole jorney.. around
8km of trekking..(including visit to jelutong tower) took more
then a hundred pictures.. most part of the journey is brisk walking..
plus running(when going down slope) cos i spent too much time
stopping to take pictures.. hope you have an enjoyable Tree Top Walk.. =)
