Different between love and attachment..

Love and attachment are not the same thing.
Love allows your beloved the freedom to be unlike you.
Attachment asks for conformity to your needs and desires.
Love imposes no demands. Attachment expresses an overwhelming
demand: “Make me feel whole.”
Love expands beyond the limits of two people.
Attachment tries to exclude everything but two people.

15 Ways To Leave Your Lover (With Love)

Acknowledge the love, honor the love, feel the love, but recognize that love
is not reason enough to keep a relationship together. You can love each other
and still break up.

Understand that relationships are sacred contracts, and some contracts simply
come to a natural end.

Listen to the signs from the Universe when they are guiding you to act in ways
that might go against your value system. Trust that this guidance will lead you
back to love — even if it leads you out of a marriage or committed relationship.

Accept responsibility for your part of the relationship, and avoid the blame
game. There are always two parties involved — period. He might have cheated on
you — and that’s not cool, but if you haven’t had sex with him in two years,
this probably isn’t a complete shocker.

Treat your lover with respect, even if you no longer wish to be together. Do
your best to avoid acting with contempt.

Give yourself a break. You’re doing the best you can under the circumstances,
and even if you make mistakes, every life experience is a growth opportunity.

Look past how your lover may behave on the surface when you’re walking out.
Try to see the loving spirit that lies within each of us, even as your hurt
partner may lash out, project onto you, dig into your insecurities, speak
biting words that sting, and act out.

Let yourself grieve. Even if you’re the one doing the leaving, you’re going to
have to go through the fire to come through the other side into a place of peace.

Grant your lover some space. Don’t expect to go from zero to sixty through a
divorce to a friendship on the other end. Allow time for both of you to grieve,
to get angry, to heal from wounds. Then focus on friendship when the wounds
aren't so fresh.

Remember that love is more important than things. And self-respect and dignity
have more value than houses, bank accounts, and cars.

Have faith in yourself. You are whole. You are enough, just the way you are.

Give your lover the benefit of the doubt. If your partner says something that
could be interpreted two ways — one that is hurtful and one that is loving or
neutral, assume that the loving one is true. Too often, we create conflict out
of misunderstanding.

Give yourself permission to feel JOY. It’s okay to bubble over with laughter,
passion, a sense of liberation, a giddy freedom, relief, and even love for
someone else. Just because you’re making a choice that may hurt someone else
doesn’t mean that those feelings aren’t your birthright.

If your freedom brings you joy — feel it, revel in it, luxuriate in the silky
softness of it, spread your wings and flutter them. But don’t let your partner
know how good it feels — not right away. Respect the relationship enough to
keep your newfound glee quiet around the person you’re leaving.

Set goals but release attachment to outcomes. You might wish your break-up
would happen a certain way, that things would be divided on your terms, that a
friendship with your ex will follow. But trust the Universe and the Master Plan.
Surrender to what is meant to be, rather than fixating on creating a particular
outcome.

If you were able to meet Jesus today as he was in real life, there would be
a gap between your level of awareness and his–we know that this is true when
we encounter spiritually inspired people who are far less enlightened than
Jesus, the saintly among us whose compassion reflects back our own spiritual
shortcomings.

If you were to follow Jesus after meeting him, you would have to try to close
this gap, setting you on the path that unfolds over time. The same holds true
without a flesh-and-blood Jesus; the same gap needs to be closed between your
present state of awareness and God-consciousness.

Devotion, service, and contemplation remain viable ways to transform yourself,
yet even the most devout Christians fall into the trap of believing that they
don’t have to transform themselves inwardly, that performing enough acts of
devotion (attending church, praying, giving to the poor, and the like) will
suffice or that doing charitable work among the poor and sick, or thinking
about God as often as possible, will be sufficient.

Jesus warns us against this trap when he speaks in parable form, about seed
that falls on waste ground and doesn’t sprout. The seed is his teaching;
the waste ground is a mind unprepared to receive the truth.

What Jesus doesn’t elaborate upon is how waste ground can be made fertile.
He says only that some people receive a bit of the truth, some a great deal,
and some none at all.

Let’s assume that you and I can absorb some of the truth, rather than all,
or none. In this regard, we fit into the category of Jesus’ disciples. We are
neither hopeless nor fully realized in God. We turn to Jesus because he
understands the territory of the unknown, the source not only of a messiah
but of the soul itself.

Chris Medina was the breakout star on Monday night’s audition episode of
“American Idol,” as he tugged at America’s heartstrings for more than just
his singing.

Chris auditioned, performing The Script’s “Breakeven,” and he brought along
his beloved fiancée, Juliana Ramos, who is confined to a wheelchair following
a tragic car accident. Today, Access Hollywood has new details about this
emotional story.

Chris, an aspiring singer, said he fell in love with Juliana the first moment
he saw her and the two became engaged in the coffee shop she worked in,
in 2007.

They had planned to wed two years after getting engaged, but shortly before
they could walk down the aisle, Juliana suffered a brain injury in a tragic
car accident...
