有情来下种，因地果还生，无情亦无种，无性亦无生。 祖师的传法偈，只可意会，不可言传。 佛以一音演说法，众生随类各得解。 有情人即是三界中人，三界中人发菩提心，就在因地上下了佛种， 在佛法这片土地上，殷勤浇灌，就能开花结果，到念念不迷时，就是果地上的佛了。 三界中人修禅到了情识俱泯的时候，就是无生法忍的境界，一切烦恼都止息了， 自心岿然不动，染法净法都不生，藏识种子安住，真常寂灭乐，所以说无情亦无种， 回归本来清净的自性。这时候，就懂得一切法无性了，一切烦恼都不生，就说是无生。 只有自心无生，才能正确映现万法。这时候，大圆镜智，胡来胡现，汉来汉现， 修行者繁兴永处那伽定，这就是无余涅槃境界。 白云悠悠解说
