這曲是小胖寫給王菲的《旋木》，原来的版本就是这首《恋曲LA》。
我還是比較喜歡他哼唱的版本，或许先入为主吧，在王菲推出旋木之前
就已经听到这首demo了。

那天下午袁惟仁看到在L.A.的朋友回台湾之后发表的一篇关于L.A.405
公路的文章，所有在那条公路两旁的景色突然从回忆里迎面跑出来，
又接着向后奔驰而去。那瞬间的感动让袁惟仁赶紧拿出吉他，写下了
这首《恋曲L.A.》。

“其实《恋曲L.A.》完全是我想象的一段异国的恋情，早在若干年前，
我常常去那边录音。它给我画面相当的深刻，我一直尝试着想把那样的
情感那样的画面放在歌词里。其实也就是在那样的心境下去创作，
我刻意的用很多地名去唤起听者的回忆。太多的异国恋情最后都不了了之，
最后留下的只是生命的小遗憾。我很喜欢把自己的创作拿给身边的朋友
去听去做测试，发现数字和地名很容易引起一些情感的流露。”
