Thursday, 3 December 2009 Attached to Been Vegetarian? Meatguy: I think you are too strongly attached to being vegetarian. Shi'an: I'm not. I'm just aware that animals are attached to their lives, and that my choice of diet prevents more deaths. Meatguy: Didn't the Buddha teach that all mind and matter is without self? Shi'an: Yes, but all the parties involved have not realised non-self yet. Meatguy: Who? Shi'an: Everyone! Me, you the eater, the butchers, the sellers and most of all, the animals. Pray, don't talk to me about 'non-dualistic wisdom', that eating meat is okay.

no matter meat eater or vegetarian..what i think is, we are all living in Singapore. A country which with few races, and diff religions... To keep harmony of this country, why we bother what other ppl want to be..
